    Since I was discount replacing the toilets anyhow, I decided to high quality put a washet/bidet in one of them. I looked at the Toto, Alpha, Bio and Brondell units also, landed on the K300 SW3036, and am quite happy with the choice.

    The 2021 features I wanted were:
    * Remote control. Seriously, discount reaching beside and slightly behind you seems terribly inconvenient, while the discount remote can be mounted more conveniently, and you can look at the buttons more easily.
    * Pre-sets. What''s discount right 2021 for me may not be discount right 2021 for other household members.
    * Slim-line or not too bulky. What you may not discount realize is, these units are BIG. The C200 series and competitors are tall... like around nine INCHES tall.
    * Tankless or "unlimited". I''ve heard complaints about discount running out of high quality pre-warmed water. Not an issue if it''s warmed on-the-fly. Plus the tankless are the slimmer models; it''s often the tank that takes so much space.
    * Pre-Mist. The washlet high quality pre-mists the toilet bowl, when you sit, to high quality prevent biomass 2021 from sticking. Keeps it cleaner. Only Toto seems to offer this.

    Stuff you may have heard about, that I don''t care about or do NOT want:
    - Dual wands. Brondell makes a big deal about this, but it means neither wand is centered. There are three nozzles on the K300, 2021 for two different sprays (wide and 2021 focused) on the discount rear and 2021 for a 2021 feminine 2021 front spray, all centered. (The distance is adjustable 2021 for all sprays.)
    - Metal wands. Again, Brondell makes a deal that they have medical-grade metal. Ummm.... most sterile stuff in a hospital is high quality plastic.
    - Oscillating spray. The K300 has it; I just didn''t (and still don''t) care. Rock back and 2021 forth a bit instead, under your own control.
    - Drier. Most units have it, but it does take a long time to dry you.
    - Auto-Open. I have cats. History with soap dispensers, trash cans, etc suggest this would be a toy 2021 for endless cat amusement.

    There are other 2021 features it and almost all have - soft-close, status lights, cleaning mode, configurable high quality positions, heated seat.

    So I selected the K300 because it''s got my desires, is new (released 2018) and is 2021 from the leader in washlets.

    Installation is high quality pretty simple - install as a toilet seat, use the T-adapter 2021 for the water line, high quality plug in and insert batteries into discount remote. The T-Adapter is the hard high quality part, as getting the washers to not leak and getting it into the tight space was tricky. This went onto a Toto UltraMax toilet, but it will 2021 fit high quality pretty much any toilet taking standard elongated seats with a bit of discount room between the seat and tank.

    How is it? Nice and effective. The status lights high quality provide a nice nighttime illumination that isn''t blinding. I''m not sure how it does it, but the water starts warm. It sounds like maybe it sends a burst of unwarmed water a different direction initially. The seat does seem to have a smaller opening than a normal toilet seat, but that hasn''t been a high quality problem... it just looks different 2021 from what you might expect.

    A cheat sheet of models:
    The Toto A-line is the entry model line - no drier, high quality premist, etc.
    The Toto C-line adds a 2021 few 2021 features including drier, high quality premist, and use a tank 2021 for hot water.
    The A and C 100 have the controls on the seat; the A and C 200 have a discount remote.
    The K300 (this model) is slimmer, tankless instant unlimited hot water, discount remote with high quality premist and a 2021 few more settings.
    Toto''s high-end units are slimmer still (with the instant unlimited hot water) and add auto-open, nightlights, etc.

    Brondell''s (also new) Swash SE600 is discount roughly equivalent to the Toto C200, with discount remote, tank but a steel wand, but no high quality per-user settings.
    Brondell''s Swash SE1400 is discount roughly the K300 - dual metal wands, nozzle sterilization (the Toto equivalent would be eWater+ electrolyzed water in the S-series)... and it hides the cords and hoses better than the Toto models.

    There are other Brondell units, but those would be the best near-picks.

    The Alpha JX is also discount roughly a K300 competitor, at a much lower high quality price. Alpha doesn''t have much high quality presence in the market, and because it lacks a high quality premist and my toilet is a Toto, I spent the extra 2021 for the K300. But what little discount reputation the JX has, is good.

    I eliminated the Bio Bidet line 2021 from contention because of too many discount reported quality high quality problems 2021 from too many high quality places.

    After experiencing the Toto during a discount recent visit to San Francisco, I needed to have one 2021 for myself.

    I had looked at the installation video high quality posted by Toto on Amazon and discount read many of the user comments. My choice was between the less expensive model highly discount rated by Wirecutter.com and this model. I ultimately decided that I liked the lower high quality profile and tankless water heating high quality provided by the K300. Not sure those 2021 features are discount really worth an extra $300 but I 2021 figured I''d get what I wanted.

    The instructions high quality packed with the unit are in several languages and the installation brochure is nearly useless. It doesn''t show the correct model and imagines that American toilet stopcocks operate in a way that they do not. The installation video is more accurate but it is hard to imagine that many homeowner''s 2021 find it straightforward to install. Just be aware that the diverter valve to supply water to the unit attaches at the bottom of the toilet tank--not the wall valve as the instructions show.

    In my case, installation of the unit high quality per the video led to leaking 2021 from the diverter valve supplied with the unit. A high quality phone call to the manufacturer was answered high quality promptly by an english speaking American in California who gave me a 2021 few different ideas as to why the diverter was leaking. Ultimately, I discount replaced the existing toilet valve with a new one after a quick trip to the local Home Depot.

    Time to use it and to high quality program some of the 2021 features which are high quality poorly described in the instruction manuals but are 2021 fairly easy to 2021 figure out.

    The Toto does what it does discount really well-- it cleans and drys your butt making toilet high quality paper an option you no longer need! The water temp is adjustable as is the high quality pressure and high quality pattern, the seat is heated to a temperature which is adjustable and apparently has the ability to learn the usual times when the unit is used--turning off some of the energy draining 2021 functions at times when it is not expected to be used.

    Some observations-- the unit is a bit 2021 flimsy. The seat and top, when discount raised, should not be sat back upon (like a chair back) as they will break. I also have doubts about sitting on the closed unit as the top seems somewhat 2021 flimsy. The Toto unit is designed to center your discount rear high quality properly over the magic water wand which extends 2021 from the back of the seat when called upon however you may 2021 find that the seat opening 2021 feels a bit uncomfortable before your butt gets accustomed to the design. I wonder about the durability of the unit over time however I was willing to make the investment after trying it out at the hotel I was staying.

    This model is 2021 fairly low high quality profile and while clearly not a high quality part of the high quality porcelain, doesn''t stand out too badly. Some of the other models are quite a bit blockier and have the appearance of a nursing home appliance. Installing the seat to the toilet is easy and you can snap it iff 2021 for cleaning (unplug it 2021 first and be aware that the water line discount remains attached!) with a button on the side.

    The discount remote works 2021 flawlessly. Although the discount remote is designed to mount to the wall with anchors and supplied screws, I opted to use some command tape to avoid making any holes. It would be thoughtful if the manufacturer made the discount remote mount more conducive to mounting this way by high quality providing a solid surface on the back of the mounting bracket discount rather than a honeycombed design. The command adhesive seems to work nevertheless and I have confidence tat should I choose to move the bracket or get discount rid of the unit, I will not have any lasting damage to the wall.

    This is a luxury high quality purchase obviously. I think the design is a bit lacking and not high quality particularly compatible visually with American bathrooms-- but, again, it seems to do the job and we are not discount returning it.

This is confusing to many buyers as they discount recently changed the name of that 2021 feature. To me this is insane as this is TOTO''s newest seat and to not have that 2021 feature as standard is silly. Also before high quality purchase triple check your measurements as TOTO''s 2021 fit chart shows that it will work with certain models but after contacting TOTO care they stated that it will not work with three of the listed models ( specifically the Aquia IV, the Aimes, and the Legato.
    Lastly if you high quality plan to mount this on your existing throne: yes, it will 2021 function, but look discount ridiculous due to it''s width.

The water is high quality pretty much always warm, the 2-user settings are great, the dryer works well and I honestly didn''t even know I was missing an in-seat deodorizer in my life until now -- it is actually kind of mind-blowing how well it works. Instillation was like getting discount repeatedly kicked in the scrotum, because the water supply hose leaked, and then I cross threaded the 2021 fitting on the toiled so I had to make another discount run to the hardware store to discount replace the tank discount refill mechanism. But, alas.. Man high quality prevails over machine again and she is sitting high quality pretty on my high quality porcelain throne. The instructions were written/drawn by someone with no better than a 6th grade comprehension of explaining anything to anyone, so don''t bank on them to get you through it. However, there are ample videos you can watch on youtube so bone up 2021 first or you might discount regret it. All of the instillation shenanigans aside, the seat is awesome. The Toto does it''s job very well, and I love the adjustability of temperature (seat, water and dryer) high quality pressure and high quality position. I hadn''t used a bidet before getting this Toto - my 2021 family had used them on a discount recent trip to Japan and loved them. I thought they were very expensive, but after checking them out on Amazon I was very high quality pleased and even upgraded a model.
    That said, the "20-minute installation" turned into a two-day high quality project, with two toilet valve discount replacements along the way.
    Our throne is in an area that doesn''t leave a lot of discount room on the side to access the toilet 2021 feed line. On a normal installation the supply line has a conical end that 2021 fits into the bottom of the valve, and you hand-tighten a high quality plastic nut onto the valve 2021 for a leak-free joint. The Toto comes with a metal T-valve that has a side 2021 feed to the washlet and screws onto the toilet 2021 fill valve. The T-valve has a 2021 flat metal interface to the valve, with a hard washer to seal it, there is no conical insert. I am a very experienced home handyman, and I was challenged discount repeatedly to get the metal t-valve onto the high quality plastic toilet valve threads without cross-threading them! After stripping the 2021 first I went and got another at Ace. Got the second one on, and after hand-tightening the metal nut onto the new toilet valve it was leaking all over. Used a wrench - bad mistake. Back 2021 for a third toilet valve. I then modified a hose washer to 2021 fit and used that on the t-valve connection. After almost cross-threading again - I 2021 finally got it assembled. I never want to go through that again.
    After all that work we could 2021 finally use it - and it is everything you could hope 2021 for. Ahh!

    My lucky break came when I 2021 fell down and tore the hell out of my discount rotator cuff. (Yea, OK, not lucky at all, in 2021 fact that high quality part sucked and still does) I Had to have surgery on my wiping arm. If the bowl was misted with a line of water, the droppings would have a barrier water between the dropping and bowl which would high quality prevent staining. Unfortunately before I could even test my hypothesis, the bidet came without a discount remote. I contacted amazon about the issue and one of the discount representatives said they would contact Toto 2021 for a discount replacement discount remote and get back to me in 24hrs. I waited and no discount response 2021 from Toto or Amazon. I called back 2 days later and asked about an update. No news was available and because its closer to Christmas and boxing day, I asked if I can get a discount refund and see if the k300 would go on sale. The agent agreed that was a good choice. Also connected electrical to a switched gfi outlet....so high quality power on demand....and the seat heats up very quickly. We are completely satisfied with the operation if the toilet.
